Kanch Mandir literally Temple of Glass, is a famous Jain temple in Indore, built by Sir Seth Hukumchand Jain. The construction began sometime around 1903.He was a prominent trader and one of India's industrial pioneer. He built a mansion at Itwaria Bazar called Shish Mahal and adjacent to it the Kanch Ka Mandir, both elegantly built using a white stone. Externally, the temple is built as a medieval mansion complete with a canopied balcony and a shikhara. The interior of Kanch Ka Mandir is entirely covered by glass panels and mosaics; including the floor, columns, walls and the ceilings. Seth Hukumchand hired craftsmen from Jaipur and some even from Iran to work on the temple. The ornamentation follow the old and medieval Jain style, with the major innovation being the use of multicolored glass and mirrors. In the main Garbhagriha, the idols of the Tirthankaras are flanked by mirrors on both sides, thus their images are seen infinite times.

At a distance of 3 km from Indore Junction, Bada Ganpati Temple is a Hindu temple situated at the western end of the MG Road, Indore. Bada Ganpati Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple got its name due to the huge size of the idol of Ganpati. There is a couple of legends behind the construction of the temple, as per one legend in 1875 Shri Dadhich, a resident of the nearby city of Ujjain had a vision of the Lord Ganesha in his dream. Then he decided to build a gigantic idol of Lord Ganesha to get Lord's blessing. As per another legend, the temple was built in 1775 by Maratha queen Ahilyabai Holkar. Standing tall at 25 ft, the idol of Lord Ganesha in Bada Ganesh Temple is one of the largest Ganesh idols in the world. The most interesting fact about the idol is that it is made of a peculiar mixture of limestone, jaggery, bricks, soil collected from seven pilgrimages (Ayodhya, Mathura, Mayapuri, Kashi, Avantika, and Dwarka), powder of five gems, or Pancha Ratna (Diamond, pearl, emerald, ruby, and topaz) and water of holy rivers in India. It is also alleged that the frames used in making the idol are made of gold, silver, iron, and copper.

This street is famous for delicious & cheap snacks and sweets of Indore !! Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya or Indore Zoo is a zoological garden located in Navlakha, Indore is fully owned and managed by Indore Municipal Corporation. This is one of the largest zoological garden of the state and one of the oldest zoological parks of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the recognized zoo in India by Central Zoo Authority. The zoo has different varieties of animals and birds which have been brought from different parts of world. The zoo’s attempts to breed white tigers, royal Bengal tigers, Himalayan bear and white peacock have been successful. Indore zoo is also a center for reproduction, protection and exhibition of animals, plants and their habitats.
